League of Women Voters Endorses Wake County Bond Referenda

LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS ENDORSES WAKE COUNTY BOND REFERENDA

RALEIGH, NC, October 11, 2018 – Three referenda for bonds will appear on Wake County voters’ ballots this year. The proposed bonds are for funding to support (1) Wake County public schools, (2) Wake Technical Community College and (3) parks, greenways, recreation and open space in Wake County.

The League of Women Voters of Wake County endorses all three of the proposed bond referenda. League president, Marian Lewin, states that “LWV-Wake supports all three bonds because we think it is important to continue to invest in our community.”

The League of Women Voters encourages voters to vote in the upcoming election. Early voting takes place October 17th through November 3rd. Election day is November 6th. Consult the Wake County Board of Elections for any changes or updates.
