Our featured speaker is Mary Maclean Asbill. Ms. Asbill is a Senior Attorney at the Southern Environmental Law Center in Chapel Hill, where she focuses primarily on the North Carolina General Assembly and its attacks on environmental protections.

Mary Maclean received a BA in English from UNC, and her law degree from the University of Georgia, where she was a Notes Editor for the Georgia Law Review.  She has been in private practice, taught at Emory University Law School, and has been with SELC for a total of 9 years.  She lives in Raleigh with her husband and 3 active teenagers and lots of pets.

Luncheon Menu: rosemary roasted pork tenderloin, fruit salad, baked sweet potato, green beans. (Vegetarian lunch option available.)
