LWV-Wake’s Complete Count Census Committee has partnered with the US Census Bureau and Wake County’s Complete Count Committee to help make sure that everyone is counted in the 2020 census. Census data determines how many representatives we have in Congress, establishes population numbers for redistricting in our state, is used as the basis for distributing federal funds to the states, and is used to inform decisions in both the public and the private sectors. Our committee helps educate the public on the importance of the census and encourages full participation.
