Candidate Forum for Raleigh City Council Candidates in Districts A-E Sponsored by League of Women Voters, NAACP, WakeUp, & Zeta Phi Beta

RALEIGH, NC, September 9, 2019 - The League of Women Voters of Wake County, the NAACP, WakeUp Wake County, and Zeta Phi Beta encourage Wake County residents to vote in upcoming municipal elections. Our organizations are cosponsoring an important candidate forum for Raleigh City candidates running in districts A, B, C, D, and E. All cosponsors are nonpartisan and do not endorse candidates. The details for the forum are as follows:

  • What: Candidate Forum for Raleigh City Council Districts A-E

  • When: September 10th at 7:00pm

  • Where: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh, 3313 Wade Avenue Raleigh, NC 27607

  • Cosponsors: League of Women Voters of Wake County, the NAACP, WakeUp Wake County, and Zeta Phi Beta

October 8th is election day for both Raleigh and Cary. Early voting begins September 18th. If necessary, any run-off elections will take place November 5th. Election day for all other municipalities in Wake County is November 5th. Consult the Wake County Board of Elections for changes or updates.
