WAKE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CANDIDATE FORUM HOSTED BY COALITION OF NONPARTISAN ORGANIZATIONS

Wake County voters will have an opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for seats on the Wake County Board of Commissioners. WRAL anchor/reporter Gerald Owens will moderate the forum. WRAL will also livestream the event.

EVENT: Wake County Board of Commissioners Candidate Forum

DATE: Tuesday, October 16th

TIME: 7:00pm – 9:00pm

LOCATION: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh, 3313 Wade Avenue, Raleigh

MODERATOR: Gerald Owens, WRAL anchor/reporter

The League of Women Voters of Wake County, WakeUP Wake County, NC Asian Americans Together, the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc, and the Raleigh Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., have joined together to help residents learn about the offices and candidates that will appear on their ballot for the election on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. This inclusive coalition emphasizes the importance of civic engagement for all residents in determining Wake County’s future and encourages voter participation during early voting and on November 6.
