League of Women Voters to Host Knightdale Candidate Forum

League of Women Voters to Sponsor Knightdale Candidate Forum

RALEIGH, NC, September 5, 2017 - The League of Women Voters of Wake County is dedicated to encouraging Wake County residents to vote in upcoming municipal elections. This October the League will sponsor a candidate forum for the Knightdale municipal elections.

The Town of Knightdale candidate forum is October 5th at 7:00pm at the Knightdale Town Council Chamber. The forum is cosponsored by the League of Women Voters of Wake County, WakeUp Wake County, and the Omicron Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

The League is also sponsoring candidate forums for the City of Raleigh and Town of Cary elections. The candidate forum for Town of Cary elections is September 21st at 7:00pm at downtown Cary’s Mayton Inn. The Raleigh candidate forum is September 28th at 7:00pm at the Avent Ferry Methodist Church in Raleigh.

Election day for Knightdale is November 7th. Early voting begins September 21st at the Wake County Board of Elections and begins at several additional locations throughout the county on October 4th. (Election day for Raleigh and Cary is October 10th.) Consult the Wake County Board of Elections for changes or updates.
