Cary Candidate Guide Available from League of Women Voters

RALEIGH, NC, September 20, 2017 - The League of Women Voters of Wake County has produced a nonpartisan guide with information about the candidates seeking election to the Cary town council. The guide includes each candidate’s views on the major issues facing Cary, what the candidate hopes to accomplish if elected, a description of qualifications, and biographical information. The Cary Candidate Guide is available at https://www.lwvwake.org/candidate-guides/.

Additionally, the League will host a candidate forum for the Town of Cary elections September 21st at 7:00pm at downtown Cary’s Mayton Inn. This candidate forum is cosponsored by the League of Women Voters of Wake County, Cary Women's Club, Heart of Cary, WakeUp Wake County, and Delta Sigma Theta Alumnae.

Election day for Cary is October 10th. Early voting begins September 21st at the Wake County Board of Elections and begins at several additional locations on October 4th. If necessary, any run-off elections are November 7th. (Election day for all other municipalities in Wake County is November 7th.) Consult the Wake County Board of Elections for changes or updates.
